Berega, Morogoro Region, Tanzania is a village in a rural area 283 km (175 miles) west of Dar es Salaam, and is 10 km along a dirt road which leads off from the B 129 road from Morogoro to the administrative capital of Tanzania at Dodoma. The hospital has 120 beds and serves an area of about 40km in radius comprising about 50 villages and has a catchment area population of about 500,000.
