Dar es Salaam
Dar es Salaam was the capital city of Tanzania, but the capital is now Dodoma. Dar remains the economic capital. Julius Nyerere International is one of two international airports in Tanzania. It is the international airport closest to Berega, the site of our first aid project.
Hotels in Dar es Salaam are plentiful and can provide restful accommodation to the international volunteer, on any budget, arriving in Tanzania.
